Abhinav Sohani is an early-stage venture capital analyst at Anthill Ventures in Hyderabad, focused on consumer tech and health tech. He screens and evaluates inbound deal flow, runs commercial and financial diligence end-to-end, and builds the models and memos that go to IC.
He currently supports a portfolio company's fundraise, coordinates with VCs and an investment bank, and leads Anthill's acceleration program with HCG Hospitals focused on early-stage health tech.
He built Anthill's Green Fund investment thesis across India, UAE, and Southeast Asia with no live deal forcing it, mapping voluntary carbon market structures, registries, pricing mechanisms, and regulatory frameworks across three genuinely different jurisdictions.
On the deal side, he sourced and evaluated Sitebase end-to-end, conducting primary customer research with L&T and MyHome that shaped both the investment decision and the founder's commercial strategy.
Out of roughly 25 to 30 companies evaluated in depth, he has advanced eight to ten, and he tracks the ones he passed on as closely as the ones he funded.
