Sonu Kalwar is a senior product designer with more than 11 years of experience, including over eight years in product design across fintech, B2B SaaS, conversational AI, e-commerce, and edtech.

Most recently at Unravel Data, he simplified data-heavy FinOps workflows and established a design language system as the company's solo designer. He owned tokens, components, documentation, engineering handoff, and phased adoption.

At Freo, Sonu led end-to-end design across lending, payments, credit, and the Freo Pay BNPL product. Freo Pay grew beyond 2M users, while his work contributed to higher KYC completion, stronger transaction success, and sustained monthly revenue growth.

He also redesigned Freo Pay's repayment journey after user research exposed confusion around payment modes. Repayment-related support tickets fell from 30% to 0% after the new flow shipped.
