Ektha is a financial research analyst with experience supporting investment decisions across venture and public markets at one of the world's leading quantitative investment firms.
She currently works within the Strategic Intelligence team at D. E. Shaw, supporting the in-house ventures desk and the public markets desk with end-to-end primary research, market mapping, and expert network sourcing.
At D. E. Shaw, she has built bottom-up TAM analyses for Series A and B companies across cybersecurity and SaaS, with outputs that directly shaped deal conviction on the New York desk.
She has also developed a formed view on how the Indian market differs from US SaaS and enterprise: distribution and business model innovation tend to matter more than pure product differentiation, a perspective she has built through sustained reading and cross-sector pattern recognition.
Earlier, she wrote finance content at Spring Money and served as Placement Coordinator at Symbiosis College.
