Ujjwal Priydarshi is an investment research and market intelligence professional with over four years of experience across government, media, and policy. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Liberal Arts from Ashoka University, with a focus on Economics, Philosophy, and Finance.
He currently serves as Assistant Manager at Invest India, leading research and deal origination for India's tourism and social infrastructure sectors, working directly with central ministries, state governments, and international capital allocators.
At Invest India, Ujjwal built investor-ready intelligence for India's apex ministries, running city-by-city analyses on hotel inventory, aviation data, and infrastructure to match global brands like Banyan Group and Club Med to specific Indian markets. He sourced and warmed up international capital from Singapore, the US, and the Middle East, including a multi-year engagement with KSL Capital, a multi-billion dollar experiential travel PE firm.
As a founding member of the Industry Development and Investment Promotion Division at the Ministry of Tourism, he helped build a pipeline of nearly 400 investible tourism projects across Indian states and UTs.
Earlier, at the Office of the Principal Scientific Advisor, he co-authored a Technical Advisory Note for the Border Security Force, designing a simulation-based training framework for Central Armed Police Forces, from secondary research through field tests to deployment.
