Tanmay Sharma is an investment research analyst and venture ecosystem builder, recently graduated from IIT Delhi. He has spent his entire college career at the intersection of startups, founders, and capital, building both the research and community muscle that early-stage investing demands.
He is currently pursuing full-time opportunities in venture capital, bringing hands-on experience in end-to-end deal research, stakeholder coordination with government officials and industry leaders, and large-scale community operations.
At ZeroPearl VC, he independently evaluated over a hundred startups across fintech and consumer tech, running the full research cycle from founder interviews and customer checks to competitive analysis, financial due diligence, and IC memo preparation. His research on Frex, a global remittance fintech, contributed directly to an investment decision.
As President of eDC IIT Delhi, he led a team of over 500 people across more than twelve verticals, scaled the Annual Entrepreneurship Summit to double its prior footfall, and drove a two-to-three times increase in program participation through sector research and curriculum design.
