Building From Zero at HeyHey
At HeyHey, Suyank joined as Head of Technology and took on the full engineering scope of a creator platform. He built and launched an NFT marketplace end-to-end at a time when smart contract development had few references, learning and shipping the full stack from Solidity contracts to a Web3.js-integrated frontend in under two months. The launch generated significant revenue for the company.
He also took over a React Native mobile app that had been outsourced to a third party, rebuilt the component architecture from scratch, standardized styling and atomic structure, and shipped improvements that let the team write new features faster while visibly improving the user experience.
Shipping Fast at Segwise
At Segwise, Suyank was a Founding Engineer responsible for shipping the first version of Segwise.ai, a product analytics platform for product managers covering onboarding, acquisition, retention, and activation data. The team shipped a working product in one month to support a fundraise, with Suyank making deliberate tradeoffs on design system investment to hit the deadline. After the raise, he led the revamp of the codebase and design system.
Bringing Standards to Scale at CodeRabbit
On contract at CodeRabbit, Suyank was brought in specifically to address maintainability and scalability issues in a codebase with too many engineers moving in different directions. He designed and built an internal NPM package covering shared UI components, utilities, compressed SVGs, and a centralized theme, then handed it off with documentation and a GitHub Actions deployment pipeline. He also moved billing management in-house by integrating Chargebee APIs directly, replacing external redirects with a native platform experience.
