Suraj Nanda is a backend engineer with around four years of experience building distributed systems, microservices, and real-time event-driven services in Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka. He works across the full backend lifecycle: design, development, and production ownership.

Currently SDE 2 at Acko, he owns production reliability for live insurance systems, running root-cause analysis and shipping fixes under pressure.

At mPokket, he designed and built the Astro Lab service from scratch, leading a team of four through design, development, and delivery. He also built a Kafka consumer service handling ten thousand-plus daily calls and a Redis caching layer that cut API latency from 200ms to 25ms for thirty thousand-plus users.

He introduced the outbox pattern at Acko to eliminate event loss during downstream failures, ensuring at-least-once delivery across the system.

Earlier at Ninjacart and Antino, he built APIs, automated document workflows, and integrated payment systems.
