Gurbani Makkar is a finance professional with close to four years of experience in business valuations, financial research, and consulting across India, the Middle East, and the UK.

She is currently a Consultant at Bough Consulting, where she owns financial transformation engagements end to end, including a cross-border migration of a Fortune 500 client's Germany subsidiary financials to US SEC standards, completed in under two months.

At KPMG, she spent two years as a Valuations Analyst across 20-plus engagements spanning pharma, FMCG, banking, telecom, and technology. She led the full secondary research and competitor mapping for a publicly listed pharma company's demerger valuation, where no direct comparable existed and the analysis had to be built from first principles.

Her work spans purchase price allocations, IFRS impairment testing, M&A benchmarking, and PE transactions. She is now moving toward investment research and venture capital, bringing a strong foundation in financial modeling and qualitative synthesis.
