Overview

At CRED, I joined the zero-to-one team exploring what the company could build in wealth. We developed CRED Mint as a P2P lending product and took it from ideation through launch, public beta, and scale. I worked across product strategy, analytics, and growth.

The Story

The charter began with an open question about what CRED could build in the wealth space. I joined the team during that exploration and stayed with the product through ideation, launch, public beta, and its subsequent growth.

My role combined product strategy, analytics, and growth. I analyzed product and user data to help determine what the team should build and where we should focus. That meant connecting behavior in the product to priorities rather than treating launch as the end of the work.

Toward the later stage of the charter, I focused on referral growth. We wanted to understand where an invitation would feel relevant to users, so I examined why people returned, how their assets grew, and how those patterns related to engagement and retention.

The analysis showed that interest accrual and meaningful asset milestones brought some users back in a positive moment. We designed referral surfaces around those moments, when users could see the value they had accumulated and might naturally want to invite someone else.

The referral work reached a K-factor of one. It became one part of a broader product journey that took CRED Mint from an open wealth exploration to a launched product with evidence of product-market fit.
