Toppr Content Operations: Building Quality at Scale

Toppr relied on a large remote network of teachers and tutors to create and support educational content. The operating challenge was to train contributors consistently, review their work, and increase throughput without allowing quality to drift.

I built a quality assurance framework for the operation and organized the management structure around tutors, supervisors, and project managers. The framework created a clearer way to sample work, identify errors, and feed corrections back into training and delivery.

The operation grew to 508 expert tutors, 10 supervisors, and two project managers. I led the distributed team and worked across the operating and product sides of the program.

My broader work included integrating acquired products into the Doubts on Chat ecosystem and supporting internal products and executive dashboards. The team also recommended automated de-duplication and plagiarism checks. LinkedIn records a five-point increase in student NPS following the related product enhancements.

The company was later acquired, and the operation eventually closed under the acquiring company. The quality framework had already been implemented and used at scale.
