The Story
At Frost & Sullivan, Tamilarasi worked on IPO Industry Market Reports for companies preparing to list across Southeast Asian markets, including Singapore and Malaysia. These reports followed strict regulatory guidelines and required both rigorous research and structured, client-aligned writing.
She owned substantial sections of each report, including competitive landscape analysis, macroeconomic context, market drivers and challenges, and financial benchmarking. For each section, she started from scratch: studying the client's market, identifying competitors, and building the analysis from raw secondary research.
The process involved ongoing back and forth with clients. They brought their own perspective on which competitors to include or exclude, and how to frame certain findings. Tamilarasi incorporated their input while maintaining the analytical integrity of the sections she owned.
Across different project teams, she also contributed to primary research components, conducting expert interviews and gathering qualitative data to supplement the secondary analysis. The scope of her contribution varied by team size and resource availability, but she consistently owned the research-to-draft pipeline for her assigned sections.
