During his summer internship at Mizuho in Global Transaction Banking, Siddhant worked on two research tracks. The first was an analysis of cross-border trade between India and the rest of the world, examining the products and instruments that make these transactions efficient and effective.
The second track focused on ESG, specifically how top-tier companies listed in India were implementing ESG frameworks. This was an emerging area of focus for the bank, and Siddhant contributed to the early-stage analysis of how Indian corporates were approaching ESG adoption.
The internship gave him foundational exposure to how global transaction banking operates, how trade finance instruments work, and how ESG considerations were beginning to shape investment and lending decisions in the Indian market.
