Overview
Siddharth launched a wallet transaction capability for Zeta's card issuance platform. It was adopted across four clients and enabled a large US lender to reach 600,000 customers with inactive physical cards.
The Story
Siddharth owned the Tachyon platform charter at Zeta, a B2B credit card issuance product with modules spanning accounts, cards, repayments, and policies. A client raised a customer problem: newly issued cards could not be used through Apple Pay or Google Pay until the physical card was activated.
He traced the issue to a transaction-layer constraint that treated wallet and physical-card transactions the same way. He then designed a flow that could enable tokenized wallet transactions immediately after issuance while retaining protections for cards that had not yet been delivered.
Siddharth validated the problem with other clients and positioned the solution as a reusable platform capability rather than a one-client customization. He coordinated module owners, client stakeholders, and compliance discussions needed for rollout.
The capability shipped across four clients. At one large US subprime lender, it enabled wallet access for 600,000 customers whose physical cards had not yet been activated.
