The Story
OneBridge Knowledge Partners was building an AI model to assist with financial due diligence and financial modeling. Before committing to a platform, the firm needed to evaluate which tools could actually handle the work: due diligence, financial modeling, and information memorandum preparation.
Sanjeevni was tasked with designing the research process. She built the questionnaire end-to-end, grounding it in a detailed analysis of what OneBridge currently offered, what peer boutique firms offered, what services the firm could potentially offer in future, and how boutique investment funds typically operate.
With the questionnaire finalized, she conducted calls with software developers and platform representatives, running each through the brief to assess fit. She shortlisted four AI platforms that met the firm's requirements across all key workflow areas.
The research package, including the questionnaire, call findings, and shortlist rationale, was compiled and presented to the managing director, who held final budget authority. The MD used Sanjeevni's work as the basis for the platform selection decision.
