Investment Research and Valuation at TresVista

At TresVista, Pooja worked on investment research projects where she was responsible for the full analytical arc — from understanding a company's business model through to a client-ready investment memo.

She started each project by mapping the company's revenue drivers, business model, and broader industry context. From there, she reviewed financial statements, identified comparable companies and relevant transactions, and used Bloomberg and CapIQ to gather market data and benchmarks.

The analytical core of the work was valuation: she ran DCF models and comparable company analyses to form a view on how the business was performing relative to its peers and what it was worth. The challenging part was synthesizing a large volume of financial and market information into a clear, defensible point of view rather than a summary of data.

The output was a structured investment memo and presentation, built for a private equity client. Pooja owned the research and analysis end-to-end, with her work reviewed by senior team members before delivery. She also handled quarterly reporting projects for private equity clients on the same basis.
