Nilam led a team of five analysts at Ventura Securities in building a chemicals sector intelligence dashboard. The goal was to give the research team a forward-looking view of commodity cycles and their downstream impact across the chemicals value chain.
She structured the dashboard to integrate two data streams: raw material price trends on one side, and downstream margin analysis on the other. By connecting these, the team could assess how input cost movements would flow through to margins at different points in the value chain, enabling more anticipatory investment views rather than reactive ones.
Managing a team of five while still in an industrial trainee role, she coordinated research responsibilities across analysts, synthesized the outputs, and shaped the final analytical framework. The dashboard became a tool the broader team could use to assess commodity cycle impacts on chemicals sector investments on an ongoing basis.
