Neetu joined RPG Group as a General Management Intern, working with KEC International on a strategic project to assess the international oil and gas pipeline market and develop a go-to-market approach for new geographies.
The Story
Neetu joined RPG Group as a General Management Intern, working with KEC International on a strategic project to assess the international oil and gas pipeline market and develop a go-to-market approach for new geographies.
She began with a broad market mapping exercise across more than 50 countries, assessing the oil and gas pipeline sector to size the opportunity. The total addressable market she identified exceeded $200 billion. For each country, she conducted country risk assessments, identified relevant funding agencies, mapped competitors, and profiled potential clients.
From that broad scan, she focused on three African countries where the opportunity was most actionable, sizing the addressable opportunity at over $20 billion. For each market, she developed a go-to-market strategy covering entry approach, partnership requirements, and competitive positioning.
She also identified and assessed more than five joint venture and consortium partners, mapping their strengths and areas of expertise to understand how they could complement KEC International's capabilities in each target market.
The internship resulted in a Pre-Placement Interview offer from RPG Group.
