Mayank joined Prasuta Ventures as a Finance Consultant, initially supporting the team with research and data structuring. Early in the engagement, he was given exposure to valuation work and took the initiative to draft a full valuation report independently.
He built the report from scratch, constructing a DCF model in Excel with his own assumptions, a written investment thesis, and a two-to-five page workbook that walked through his analysis methodology. The goal was to produce something that could stand on its own as a structured piece of financial analysis.
The report was reviewed by the leadership team. Mayank received strong positive feedback on the numbers, the formatting, the underlying calculations, and the specific assumptions he had used. The quality of the output was noted as impressive relative to his stage.
