Overview
Mahendra took the Project Health Index from an executive concept to a live dashboard within one week. It now tracks 10 projects and helps leaders simulate which sales or construction levers could improve project health.
The Story
Mahendra received the Project Health Index concept directly from Unitern's CEO ahead of a public launch. The product needed to give investors and senior leaders a concise view of sales, construction progress, and overall project health.
He owned the work end to end with one early-career engineer. Mahendra designed the interface and shaped the underlying architecture and metric logic, taking the product from concept to release within one week.
He also built a sensitivity view that modeled how changes in sales or construction could affect project health. This turned the dashboard from a reporting surface into a decision-support tool.
After launch, the dashboard became part of leadership's operating view across 10 projects. It was also used by an external project partner.
