At Jagdish Hirani, Keshav was the sole consultant responsible for a rural cooperative bank engagement. He owned the full process from diagnosis to SOP design, visiting the bank independently to observe current workflows, identify friction points, and design streamlined alternatives.

At Jagdish Hirani, Keshav was the sole consultant responsible for a rural cooperative bank engagement. He owned the full process from diagnosis to SOP design, visiting the bank independently to observe current workflows, identify friction points, and design streamlined alternatives.
The bank's loan approval process involved an excessive number of steps and documents. Keshav consolidated the loan documentation into a single user-facing form, reducing the complexity of the application process and accelerating both the submission and verification stages. The collateral verification process was similarly simplified by removing redundant steps.
For account opening, the goal was to reduce the time from application to activation. He mapped the existing process, identified the steps that added delay without adding control, and designed a leaner workflow.
He reported findings and recommendations to his principal manager daily, and the final SOPs were developed through that iterative review process. Implementation was underway at the time he transitioned out of the role, so the full outcome was not directly observed, but the primary improvement targets were reduced account opening time and improved loan processing speed.
