About the Role
As Performance Ads Specialist at Vidrow, you will own paid acquisition across client accounts, turning advertising spend into business growth.
The remit spans Meta and Google across businesses with different economics. It requires hands-on campaign expertise and independent reasoning about where budgets should go.
You will work with the creative team, connecting campaign performance to the ads they produce.
What You'll Own
- Client acquisition campaigns. Plan, launch, and optimise Meta and Google campaigns across client accounts.
- Budget allocation and bidding. Decide where spend goes against acquisition cost, return, and volume goals.
- Campaign structures and settings. Choose campaign types and technical settings that suit each client's business.
- Audience, creative, and offer tests. Run structured experiments and turn the results into the next creative brief.
- Conversion tracking. Maintain pixels, Conversions API, GA4, MMPs, and UTMs.
- Client performance reports. Explain weekly and monthly results, their causes, and the decisions they support.
Signs You'll Be A Great Fit
- Managed Meta campaigns hands-on. You chose structures, bids, and settings yourself and understand Google Ads fundamentals.
- Allocated substantial monthly budgets. You made consequential spend decisions and can explain the economics behind them.
- Built campaigns around business models. You connected acquisition decisions to how a business earns revenue and serves customers.
- Diagnosed underperforming campaigns. You traced weak results to specific causes and tested your explanation.
- Turned raw exports into decisions. You used spreadsheets, pivots, or dashboards to explain changes in performance.
- Explained results to business leaders. You helped founders or marketing heads understand what changed and what to do next.
How We Work
- Understand the client's economics. Learn how each business works before choosing its campaign structure.
- Explain the reasoning behind a change. Make the business case for budget, bidding, and settings decisions.
- Watch where spend actually goes. Check which ads attract budget and whether that allocation makes business sense.
- Verify the conversion events. Check that tracking captures the actions the business wants to generate.
- Update your understanding. Revisit assumptions as Meta and Google change their products and settings.
- Work directly with the creative team. Use campaign findings to guide what the team makes next.
- Take decisions close to the work. Own campaign choices in a flat team that discusses their underlying logic.
The Opportunity
You will shape paid media decisions across startups at different stages, working alongside a team that produces the ads you run. Vidrow's flat hierarchy gives you direct ownership of campaign choices. You gain breadth across business models and a close connection between your reasoning, creative decisions, and campaign results.
