Professional trading in India has always meant juggling five tools, three tabs, and a broker that does nothing but execute. TRADL AI was built on the belief that every serious retail trader deserves the same intelligence institutional desks spend millions on, delivered as a conversation.

Founded and seeded in early 2025, TRADL converts natural language into verified, code-backed stock intelligence with no hallucinations and no black boxes. The platform is live, with roughly 1,000 beta users already testing screeners, smart charts, option chains, and pattern detection. The roadmap runs to autonomous research agents, strategy builders, and portfolio-aware execution: a full agentic stockbroking platform.

The core team is small and expanding fast. The design function is now led by a 15-year veteran who spent six-plus years leading design at Punch, a broking platform in the Indian ecosystem. This hire works directly alongside that lead.

TRADL AI is three months from its alpha launch, moving from 1,000 beta users to 10,000-plus, and the product surface is expanding fast: screeners, smart charts, option chains, pattern detection, strategy builders, a real-time copilot. Ten to twelve tools are in parallel development across separate product pods, each with its own PM and its own design hypothesis.

The problem this role exists to solve is coherence. Right now, the tools work. What they do not yet have is a unified experience that makes a trader feel like they are inside one intelligent platform rather than a collection of features. You will build the design system that creates that coherence, own the craft of turning complex financial data into clear interfaces under time pressure, and sit in the early product conversations so the tools are shaped right before they are built, not patched after. The December broking license launch is the hard deadline everything is working toward.

The design system from the ground up. Set the foundation: components, tokens, themes, color, tonality. Every tool built from here runs on what you establish.

Proto-to-production execution across ten-plus tools. Convert wireframes and concepts into finished, production-ready designs at a pace the team can actually ship against. The velocity bar is real.

The unified experience across product pods. Bridge the PMs building separate tools and make the trader's journey feel like one platform. You are the connective tissue between surfaces.

AI interaction patterns. Design how traders engage with natural language queries, code-backed screen results, and AI-generated outputs on decision surfaces like charts and option chains.

UX research, led by you. Run user interviews and usability testing with retail traders, synthesize competitive benchmarking across Indian brokers, global platforms, and the crypto space, and bring those insights back into active product decisions.

Design decisions with a thesis. When two PMs want different interaction patterns for the same workflow, you come back with a point of view backed by data or research, communicated clearly to the product team and founders without waiting for a scheduled alignment.

You have shipped B2C product design at scale. A consumer app with a couple of million downloads or more is in your portfolio. You know what design decisions break at scale before they break.

Fintech or trading products are in your past. You have designed for information-dense financial surfaces: dashboards, data tables, order flows, or charting interfaces. Familiarity with how traders use Kite, Groww, or TradingView is a strong signal.

Your portfolio shows complex UI handled with clarity. Dense data, time-pressure workflows, and multi-state interfaces are where your best work lives, not clean marketing pages.

You have built or contributed to a design system. Component libraries, tokens, and cross-platform consistency are not new problems for you.

UX research is part of your practice, not a handoff. You have run user interviews, synthesized findings, and brought them into product decisions yourself.

You move fast and come with a point of view. When the data is ambiguous, you form a thesis, back it with evidence, and communicate it clearly. You do not wait for a calendar slot to make a call.

Creative range beyond UI execution. You think about brand tonality, visual language, and the emotional register of a product, not just component states.

AI or conversational interfaces are in your toolkit. Experience designing chat-based UX, natural language input, or generative output display is a meaningful bonus.

Ship, then sharpen. The alpha launch is in three months. You prototype fast, get it in front of users, and iterate. Perfection is the enemy of the deadline.

Come with a thesis. Opinions backed by data or research move faster than open questions. Bring your point of view into the room, not just the options.

Communicate on the go. The team is small enough that decisions happen on the floor or in a quick sync. Do not sit on a call for a predetermined slot when a five-minute conversation resolves it.

Own the whole surface. You are not a pixel-pusher for a PM's spec. You are in the early conversations, shaping what gets built before it gets built.

Benchmark relentlessly. Indian brokers, global platforms, crypto UX. The best ideas for this product exist somewhere already. Find them, adapt them, make them better.

Work directly with engineers. Designs go into production. You understand how your components get implemented and you close the gap between spec and shipped.
