Stock analysis still lives in fragmented tools, clunky terminals, and interfaces built for a previous decade. Tradl AI is rebuilding the surface from scratch: an AI-native trading platform where learning, discovery, research, analysis, and execution happen on one unified layer, end to end.

The company raised $4.3M at an $18M valuation, led by Nexus and Stellaris Venture Partners. Sixteen people, six of them engineers, MVP live in closed beta with 2,400+ traders using it across the country. The broking license is months away; when it clears, the platform goes from pre-execution to full execution.

Tradl AI's MVP is live, 2,400 traders are using it in closed beta, and the broking license lands in the next few months. When it does, the platform shifts from pre-execution to full execution, and the backend has to be ready for it.

This is the seat that architects those systems from scratch. You'll work directly with the VP Engineering and the founders, move across the full backend surface as priorities shift, and own what you build end to end. The engineering team is six people; this role is primarily IC with a lead dimension as the team grows. The first stretch is product and app integrations; the next is making the platform ready for live execution at scale.

• Backend architecture from scratch. The systems that power a trading platform moving from MVP to full product launch. You design them, you build them, you own them.
• Microservices and database design. Architect the services layer and the data model for a platform handling real-time market data and (soon) trade execution.
• Product and app integrations. The platform is going live on mobile; you build the backend that supports both web and application surfaces.
• End-to-end delivery. No handoffs to another team. You take a problem from understanding to production, across the full cycle.
• Technical ideas that ship. Bring new approaches, tools, and patterns to a codebase that is still being shaped. The stack is early enough that your decisions become the foundation.
• The path to execution readiness. When the broking license clears, the backend has to handle live trades. You build toward that milestone with every sprint.

• You've architected backend systems from scratch at a startup. Built the services layer, designed the database, shipped it to production, and owned it after.
• You've held team lead responsibility. You've led a small engineering team, run code reviews, set technical direction, and still shipped code yourself.
• You bring breadth, not just depth. You've worked across multiple backend surfaces (APIs, data pipelines, integrations, infra) rather than owning one narrow slice for years.
• Golang is your primary stack, or you ramp fast on new languages. Production Golang experience is a strong signal; strong fundamentals and fast ramp speed matter more than years on the language.
• You've built in the trading or broking domain. You understand the data models, the latency expectations, and the regulatory surface of a trading platform. This is a significant plus.
• Product company pedigree, no services background. You've shipped product at a company where engineering owns the outcome, not delivers to a client spec.
• You operate with ownership and hustle at a zero-to-one pace. Priorities shift fast. You solve problems proactively, bring ideas to the table, and treat the product as yours.
• 2021 batch or earlier. You have a few years of real, compounding work experience under your belt.

• Own it end to end. You pick up a problem, you ship the solution, you hold it in production. No partial handoffs.
• Move with the priority. The roadmap shifts as the company learns. You shift with it, fast, without losing quality.
• Collaborate directly with founders. The team is small enough that you sit with the people making the decisions. Use that access.
• Bring ideas, not just execution. The codebase is early. If you see a better pattern, a sharper tool, a smarter architecture, say it and build it.
• Ship fast, stay rigorous. Hustle without sloppiness. Speed matters; so does the system holding up when the license clears and real trades flow through.
• Be on-site, five days a week. The team builds together in Bengaluru. Occasional flexibility exists, but this is not a hybrid role.

Seed-funded at $4.3M led by Nexus and Stellaris. Compensation at the higher end of the range for the right person, with ESOPs on a one-year cliff and four-year vest. A founding-level seat in a sixteen-person company building a trading platform from scratch.
