About Susquehanna Venture Capital

<photos>

Susquehanna is the venture arm of SIG, one of the world's largest options market makers since 1987. SIG built its position on proprietary systems wrapped around human judgment, and Susquehanna applies that same instinct to venture: investing in AI-native infrastructure and backing founders from Series A to IPO across Asia.

The firm invests across financial services, SaaS, healthcare, and education, with teams in India, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, China, and the US. It is sector-aware but not sector-bound, and the portfolio has grown meaningfully in the past year as the firm moves earlier in the stage curve.

The India team is small, globally connected, and operates with a high degree of autonomy. Daily collaboration runs across the Southeast Asia team, with frequent knowledge-sharing across the US and China desks.

About the Role

As Marketing & Communications Lead at Susquehanna Venture Capital, you will own the firm's brand presence and portfolio support work across India.

You will define the content and communications strategy, run <>, manage ecosystem relationships, and bring structure to active projects the investment team runs with portfolio companies. The role asks for editorial judgment, ecosystem fluency, and the initiative to set your own brief.

You will report to the <>Lead and work daily alongside the investment team and the broader Asia portfolio value creation group.

What You'll Own

Two workstreams, one owner. You set the brief, defend the standard, and decide what ships.

  • Content and publishing calendar. Own LinkedIn, X, newsletter, blog, and long-form essays; set the cadence and hold the editorial bar across every channel.
  • Partner thought leadership. Work with the investment team to translate sector views and research into content the ecosystem actually reads.
  • Portfolio fundraise communications. Run announcement cycles end to end: founder briefings, press notes, partner commentary, and social posts.
  • Surveys and benchmarks. Design and publish quarterly founder NPS surveys, ecosystem benchmarks, and sector pulse reports.
  • Portfolio project support. Join active projects the investment team runs with companies; bring structure, track progress, and move things forward.
  • Ecosystem and media relationships. Build and maintain journalist relationships across India and selectively in the US; own the PR playbook portfolio companies draw from.
  • Firm website. Own the content and keep it current as the portfolio and firm narrative evolve.

You'll Be A Great Fit If

  • Operated without a playbook. You have worked in a small team where the structure did not exist yet and built it yourself.
  • Shipped content with editorial standards. You have owned a channel or publication end to end and made calls on what goes out under your name.
  • Embedded in the startup or fund ecosystem. Your network includes founders, operators, and investors you can call, not just follow.
  • Moved fast and iterated. You default to testing over planning; your track record shows momentum, not just strategy decks.
  • Managed cross-functional projects. You have brought structure to work that crossed teams or organizations and kept it moving.
  • Built relationships that opened doors. You have used your network to solve a real problem for a team or company, not just to collect contacts.
  • Comfortable being the only one in the room. You have been the sole owner of a function and made it work without a manager defining your brief.

How We Work

  • Set your own brief. No one hands you a content calendar; you build it, defend it, and own the outcomes.
  • Test before you plan. Ship a version, read what it does, and iterate; long planning cycles are not the default here.
  • Use AI as a force multiplier. The firm's internal tooling exists to raise the bar on craft, not to lower it; the standard goes up because the tools exist.
  • Stay connected to the ecosystem. The best insight here comes from being in the room, at the event, and in the conversation, not from a desk.
  • Bring structure to ambiguity. When a project has no process, you create one; the team relies on you to make cross-functional work legible.
  • Work across borders daily. The India role sits inside a global team; alignment with Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, and the US desks is part of the job.

The Opportunity

You report to the Business Development Lead and own the firm's full marketing and portfolio communications surface in India. The role gives you a front-row position inside a globally connected venture firm at an active deployment phase, with direct access to partners, founders, and a portfolio scaling across sectors.
