Profound is building a professional network for the AI age around professional identity, representation, and connection. Its AI representative helps professionals present their work, meet relevant people, and find suitable roles.

The product builds professional profiles, recommends connections, supports applications, and provides career tools. For hiring managers, Profound uses intake calls, candidate dossiers, and match scores to help them understand candidates.

Profound is a pre-seed company with a team of 1 to 10 people.

As Product Manager at Profound, you will own the hiring product from blank slate to launch, creating the wedge that starts its professional marketplace.

The work spans problem discovery and product delivery in an early-stage consumer environment. It requires product discovery craft and the judgment to turn open questions into a coherent product.

You will take the hiring product from an open problem to a launched experience.

• The hiring product. Own the product from its initial definition through launch.
• Problem discovery. Identify the hiring problems that deserve to shape the product.
• The product concept. Turn discovery into a coherent product for hiring managers and candidates.
• The launch roadmap. Set the sequence from product definition to a usable release.
• Marketplace foundations. Build the hiring wedge that starts Profound’s professional marketplace.

• Owned a zero-to-launch build. You carried continuity from problem definition through a shipped product.
• Led product discovery. You found the underlying user problem and used it to define the product.

• Worked in an early-stage team. You made progress with limited structure and a product still taking shape.
