As Frontend Engineer at Profound, you will own polished consumer interfaces and help shape the product.

You will ship new features, refine rough edges, and turn product ideas into clear experiences. The role requires strong frontend craft, design taste, speed, and product judgment.

You will work on-site with the founders and engineering team.

• The frontend experience. Build polished, responsive interfaces for Profound's consumer product.
• New product features. Turn emerging ideas into working experiences as the company searches for product-market fit.
• Interface quality. Refine visual, interaction, UX, and information architecture details across the product.
• Frontend code quality. Write maintainable code that supports fast iteration and reliable releases.
• Product solutions. Bring options when a brief is unclear, and improve the product through your own judgment.
• Fast learning loops. Ship, observe how users respond, and improve the experience with the team.

• Built consumer interfaces hands-on. You can show polished frontend work and explain the choices behind it.
• Shipped at startup pace. You have moved from loose requirements to working product without waiting for full clarity.
• Improved design through engineering. Your product eye has changed UX, interaction, or information architecture decisions.
• Formed your own product view. You have challenged a brief and proposed a stronger solution.
• Balanced speed with code quality. You know where to invest in foundations and where to ship a smaller version.
• Worked close to users. You use behavior and feedback to improve how a consumer product feels.

• Care about the user experience. Treat design, copy, interaction, and emotion as part of the product.
• Form a point of view. Examine the brief, raise concerns, and propose a stronger path.
• Move quickly. Keep scope tight, ship useful work, and learn from real usage.

Cash compensation of ₹22.5L to ₹30L a year. The offer includes ₹15L to ₹20L worth of ESOPs. You will work directly with the founders and co-own the consumer product experience. The role gives you substantial influence over a seed-stage product seeking product-market fit.
