About InstaHeadshots

InstaHeadshots creates professional headshots from uploaded photos using AI. It serves individuals and teams who need polished profile images for LinkedIn, company websites, and other professional uses. Users upload photos, choose profile details, and receive headshots tailored to their look. The service also offers team management for businesses that want consistent headshots across employees.

About the Role

InstaHeadshots has generated over 30 million headshots for more than 300,000 professionals. Revenue is tied directly to output quality and user satisfaction — which means the funnel, the conversion curve, and the AI output pipeline are the business. This Product Manager role sits at the center of all three.

You'll own the core product roadmap: the journey from selfie upload to final image delivery and purchase. The work is analytical first — find the gaps in the data, build a concrete plan, execute in one-to-two month cycles. No lingering roadmaps, no reckless pivots. Fast planning, disciplined execution. You'll be working in a profitable, lean environment where the bar is revenue growth and the decisions are yours to make.

What You'll Own

  • The core product roadmap — from selfie upload to final image delivery and purchase. You hold the end-to-end journey and the decisions that shape it.
  • Funnel and conversion optimization — identify where users drop, diagnose why, and ship the fix. Revenue depends on this.
  • Short-cycle execution — build roadmaps that close in one to two months. No lingering plans; every cycle ends with a measurable outcome.
  • Customer and data insights — own the analytics layer. You're the person who finds the gap in the numbers before anyone else does, and brings a concrete plan back to the table.
  • AI output quality, as a product lever — work at the intersection of generative AI capability and user satisfaction. Understand what the models can do today and push the roadmap accordingly.
  • Growth and revenue decisions — when data points to a call that trades some UX polish for a revenue outcome, you make it. You hold accountability for the number.
  • Cross-functional alignment — steer the engineering and design team with an analytic point of view. The roadmap is yours; the execution is collective.

You'll Be A Great Fit If

  • You've shipped AI or ML-powered consumer products and you understand — from hands-on experience — what current models can and cannot do. You're not guessing at the edges of the technology.
  • You live in analytics. Mixpanel, Amplitude, SQL, or whatever the stack demands — you're the person who opens the dashboard before anyone asks you to, and you come back with a diagnosis, not just a chart.
  • You've built and executed short-cycle roadmaps — one to two month sprints with clear outcomes — and you can show the before-and-after on a funnel or a revenue line.
  • You've worked at a revenue-focused consumer startup: Zomato, Ola, Exotel, CRED, or a company built with the same profit-and-growth discipline. You know what it feels like when the numbers are the north star.
  • You're comfortable making calls that trade some UX polish for a measurable revenue or growth outcome — and you can defend that call with data, not instinct alone.
  • You're an executor, not a strategist-in-residence. You can write the plan and then do the work. The groundwork — the sheets, the gaps, the next steps — is where you spend your time.
  • You have a working understanding of generative AI, LLMs, and software architecture at a level that lets you hold a real conversation with an engineering team about what's possible and what isn't.
  • You're not waiting for a brief to tell you where the problem is. You find it, frame it, and bring a roadmap to the table.

How We Work

  • Own the diagnosis before the solution. Look at the data, find the gap, name it clearly — then build the plan.
  • Execute in cycles. One-to-two month roadmap windows. Ship, measure, adjust. No multi-quarter plans that drift.
  • Make the call. When data points to a decision — even one that trades UX polish for revenue — take it. Indecision is the cost we don't accept.
  • Stay lean. Trim what doesn't move the number. Every initiative earns its place on the roadmap.
  • Know the technology. You work at the intersection of generative AI and user experience. Understand what the models can do today, and where the ceiling is.
  • Bring the plan, not just the problem. When you walk into a conversation, you have a concrete next step ready.

The Opportunity

₹10L–₹30L per year, with negotiable equity that scales with the person. On-site in Bengaluru. A seat at a profitable, AI-native consumer company with 30 million headshots generated and a user-first model that has earned global trust.
