About Dezerv
Most wealth management products show investors a dashboard. Dezerv is built on the belief that affluent investors deserve more than a table of numbers; they deserve to understand what their portfolio is actually doing and why it matters.
That belief produced a phygital wealth platform combining human relationship managers with digital infrastructure, serving investors through PMS products built for serious, long-term wealth creation.
Dezerv operates at Series C scale, backed by institutional investors, with a product team rebuilding how wealth management works from the ground up.
About the Role
As Product Manager, Portfolio Narrative at Dezerv, you will own the engagement loops that turn investor portfolio data into insight-driven experiences.
You will work with the investment team to sharpen house views, map where customer portfolios drift from them, and design the sequences of moments that bring investors back to understand and act. The role asks for hard data fluency and sharp consumer psychology in equal measure.
You will report to the Group PM leading Portfolio Narrative and collaborate with designers, the investment team, and analytics.
What You'll Own
- Portfolio insight engine. Map customer portfolios against Dezerv's house views and surface the gaps worth acting on.
- Engagement loop design. Build the sequences of in-app moments that bring investors back, deepen understanding, and drive action over time.
- House view development. Work with the investment team to define and sharpen the rules that power every insight the product surfaces.
- Insight constructs. Conceive the interaction formats, from AI chat prompts to insight cards, that make complex data land as a story.
- Engagement measurement. Own the metrics framework: track depth-of-engagement signals and use them to iterate the loop design.
You'll Be A Great Fit If
- Built engagement or retention products. You have owned a loop, a lifecycle, or a re-engagement surface and can show what moved.
- Worked where data was the raw material. You track cohort depth, calculate retention curves, and read the numbers without hand-holding.
- Designed for user motivation, not just user action. You think about why someone returns, not just whether they do.
- Conceived product constructs independently. You have handed a designer a fully formed concept, not a brief asking them to figure it out.
- Genuinely interested in investing. You follow markets, understand portfolio logic, and find the data interesting on its own terms.
- Operated in gaming, fintech, content, or edtech. You have worked on a product where engagement was the core problem, not a side metric.
How We Work
- Turn data into a story first. Every insight starts with the portfolio data; the product's job is to make that data mean something to the investor.
- Own the construct before the designer touches it. Bring a fully formed idea to the design conversation, not a question.
- Track what you ship. Depth-of-engagement metrics are the scorecard; know them, own them, and use them to decide what comes next.
- Work with the investment team, not around them. House views are a shared output; the PM and the investment team build them together.
- Think in loops, not screens. A single visit is not the unit of success; the sequence of visits is.
- Stay close to the user's motivation. The investor's psychology drives every design decision; curiosity about why people behave as they do is the baseline.
The Opportunity
Cash compensation ranges from ₹15L to ₹35L a year, depending on experience. You report to the Group PM for Portfolio Narrative and own a new product surface inside a platform serving affluent investors at scale. The role gives you a greenfield engagement charter to build from the ground up.
