About Bureau

Fraud is getting harder to catch because fraudsters have moved beyond identity. KYC and alternate data alone no longer stop them. Bureau exists because the most effective way to make fraud expensive is to fingerprint devices, analyze behavioral patterns, and detect anomalies at the network and app level, before a transaction ever completes.

That belief produced a unified risk decisioning platform: a single decision-making engine, powered by a billion-plus identity knowledge graph, with products spanning Device Intelligence, Behavioral Biometrics, and app-level security. Over 150 banks, fintechs, and digital platforms use Bureau to verify identities faster and stop fraud earlier.

Bureau has raised over $50M from Sorenson Capital and PayPal Ventures, operates at Series B scale, and is expanding from APAC into the Americas and Europe.

About the Role

As Group Product Manager at Bureau, you will own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Device Intelligence and Behavioral Biometrics product line.

You will audit what has been built, set the multi-year direction, and make the prioritization calls that move the product from India-scale to global. The role asks for equal fluency with engineering teams and GTM partners, and a sharp read on how fraud patterns evolve.

You will report to senior leadership and work across engineering, data science, design, sales, and product marketing.

What You'll Own

Device Intelligence and Behavioral Biometrics vision. Define the multi-year strategy for Bureau's core fraud detection product line.

The global roadmap. Prioritize what gets built, sequence the bets, and communicate the reasoning to engineering, sales, and leadership.

Performance and detection improvements. Own the product's latency, concurrency, and fraud-catch metrics as the platform scales internationally.

GTM and positioning. Partner with sales and product marketing to sharpen how the product is sold and why it wins in new markets.

Product operating rhythm. Install the discovery, sprint planning, and experimentation cadences the team runs on.

The external product voice. Represent Bureau's fraud and identity product line in customer conversations, market forums, and thought leadership.

You'll Be A Great Fit If

Built or bought fraud detection products. You have shipped device intelligence, behavioral biometrics, or trust and safety tooling, or integrated them deeply at a consumer or financial services company.

Owned a B2B SaaS product end to end. You have set strategy, written specs, and shipped in a product-first org, not a services environment.

Operated at a scaling startup. You have navigated a one-to-ten growth phase where the roadmap was yours to define and the chaos was yours to channel.

Studied fraud as a discipline. You follow how modus operandi evolve, track forums and threat intelligence, and bring that read into product decisions.

Moved fast without a full playbook. You have made prioritization calls with incomplete data and owned the outcome.

Worked the room on both sides. You have run sprint planning with engineers and sat in customer meetings with sales, and you are equally effective in both.

How We Work

Start with the fraud pattern. Product decisions here begin with understanding how fraudsters operate, not just what customers ask for.

Ramp fast and bring context before criticism. Understand why decisions were made before proposing changes; solutions carry more weight than complaints.

Work beside the engineers. Attend standups, write clear specs, and stay close to the build; distance from the team is not a senior-person privilege here.

Own the GTM side. Attend customer calls, sharpen the pitch with marketing, and treat commercial success as part of the product mandate.

Think in public. The team values people who share their read on the market, write about fraud trends, and build a point of view externally.

Move at Series B pace. The product is scaling fast across geographies; decisions get made quickly and revisited when the data changes.

The Opportunity

You report to senior leadership and own Bureau's core fraud detection product line.

The role puts you at the center of a global expansion in one of the most technically complex areas of fintech.

Cash compensation of ₹40L to ₹100L a year, with flexibility for the right profile.

ESOPs are on the table and will be structured with the candidate.
