Alongside her deal and research work at TresVista, Ishita identified a gap in how the team tracked sector performance over time. Senior bankers needed a way to monitor companies, indexes, and M&A activity in healthcare and consumer without rebuilding the picture from scratch each time.
She built a Capital IQ-based market performance database that the team could use to track indexes, monitor target companies, and follow M&A deal flow in real time. The database was structured so that others could use it independently, not just as a personal reference.
She also integrated Model ML into her workflow to pull financial data from Capital IQ and FactSet and generate visual summaries on a single slide. This allowed senior bankers to get a quick read on where the market was moving without digging through raw data.
On top of the database, she produced weekly healthcare sector newsletters for senior bankers, synthesizing deal flow, company performance, and emerging themes into a format that kept the team current between active mandates. The newsletters tracked the companies the team was focused on and flagged shifts in sector sentiment.
