At the origination stage, she evaluated target companies for strategic fit and commercial positioning, and drafted targeted pitch books to support the deal origination pipeline. This required sizing markets, mapping competitive fields, and building a structured view of where each target sat within its sector.
Through execution, she prepared key transaction materials including CIMs, teasers, financial models, and management presentations. She performed valuation analyses using comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and DCF models.
The research layer she built for each mandate, sector landscaping, competitive positioning, and M&A thesis development, fed directly into the materials that went in front of investors and acquirers. Every mandate started as a research problem before it became a deal, and that upstream work was consistently where she contributed most.
