Overview
At 16, Vidyadhar helped turn a science blog's viral Reddit moment into an online magazine and advertising business. Science Panorama grew to 60,000 subscribers and more than one million page views.
The Story
Vidyadhar began Science Panorama as a teenager with a straightforward goal: publish an engaging science blog. A social growth experiment went viral on Reddit and sent a large wave of readers to the site.
Rather than treating the traffic as temporary, the team converted attention into an online magazine. They built a subscriber base and sold advertising across the magazine and blog.
Science Panorama reached 60,000 subscribers and more than one million page views. The experience showed Vidyadhar that the internet could distribute useful work without regard to age, geography, or formal credentials.
