The Story
At Redseer, Dhanraj worked on sector intelligence databases for emerging Indian technology markets where the available published data was limited and primary inputs were often noisy or inconsistent. His role was to turn fragmented inputs into credible, usable market estimates rather than simply aggregate the available responses.
He developed a structured approach to test the reliability of the data, build scenario ranges and triangulate the results against expert inputs and available company-level information. The objective was to form a defensible view of the market while being explicit about the assumptions and uncertainty behind each estimate.
He also maintained the integrity of the databases over time, revisiting historical estimates when more credible information—such as company disclosures or newly available financial data—emerged.
