His work involved cross-checking brokerage operations against a large set of SEBI guidelines, reviewing whether internal processes met regulatory requirements across multiple dimensions. He analyzed dozens of dealer-client call recordings to verify regulatory adherence and accuracy in trade communication, flagging discrepancies where they arose.
To make the findings actionable, Arpit created structured Excel-based reports summarizing audit findings and operational gaps. These reports improved reporting clarity and contributed to corrective action implementation by the compliance team.
Alongside the audit work, he supported client onboarding tasks including KYC verification and document checks, giving him exposure to the full operational workflow of a brokerage.
