The Story
Anuj joined Expertrons Technologies to support fundraising for Scale100x.ai, an AI-powered franchise scaling initiative, with no existing investor database and no warm introductions to start from.
He built the pipeline from the ground up, scraping investor data from Tracxn, Crunchbase, and LinkedIn. Rather than casting wide, he studied the public posts and stated sector interests of individual investment analysts at each fund to assess thesis alignment before making contact.
The matching process was deliberate. He cross-referenced each fund's portfolio and stated focus areas against Scale100x.ai's mission, filtering down to fund houses where the fit was credible. Kerala Networks and Pune Angel Networks were among the funds he identified and reached out to.
He coordinated introductory meetings between shortlisted investors and the co-founder, and sat in on the early conversations. The outreach directly contributed to closing 10 to 20% of the target raise.
In parallel, Anuj tracked government policy and grant programs relevant to the AI and franchise scaling space. He identified and submitted applications to several grant schemes, and while none closed, Scale100x.ai was shortlisted for a few, which strengthened the credibility of the fundraising narrative with investors.
